The Craftsman's Quest 2014
THE RESULTS!
The Craftsman's Quest ended on 30th September 2014. Over 60 families took part in the Quest, solving the puzzles in the Quest Booklet and then roaming the countryside in search of all the visual clues that led them towards the solution.
16 families returned completed forms and many had found most of the clues. Everyone had solved the anagram to give the name:
SANDRINGHAM
But only two families had worked out the mystery relationship between this name and the Quest. Click here for the full solutions sheet: SOLUTIONS TO THE QUEST
These two families were so close in their answers and finding of tie-breaker clues that we decided to give them both a first prize of a Meal for a Family of Four at the Park Hotel, Diss.
Five other families reached a very high number of visual clues, even though they did not solve the relationship question and these are being awarded runners-up prizes of a gorgeous box of Thornton's chocolates.
The Prizewinners are as follows:
Joint First Prizes:
The Threadgold Family, Blenheim Way, Roydon
The Blake Family, Red Clay Barn, Wattisfield
Runners-up:
Nikki Potter and Karen Peacock, Wortham
The Ward and Young Families, Diss and New Zealand!
The Calton Family, Hinderclay
Roger Bartrum, Diss
The McGill Family, Redgrave
All profits from the Quest will go towards the Wortham Church Restoration Fund. The Friends of Wortham Church would like to thank the Park Hotel, Diss, for their kind sponsorship of the first prize.
